The pasta is handmade by us every day to ensure freshness and quality.
Our classic pici, or pinci as they are known in Montalcino, are particularly special, in breadcrumbs, garlic, cheese and pepper and fantastic ragu.
Our tagliatelle are kneaded and rolled thin with a rolling pin, according to traditional methods, available with our own wild boar sauce or seasonal vegetables.
The tortelli are inspired by Maremma, stuffed with ricotta and spinach, topped with ragu or butter and sage.
Soups are one of the restaurant's fortes: the bread soup is a classic, the acqua cotta (vegetable and legume soup) is made for special occasions, the onion soup is the most popular....
The second courses are all traditional, including classic stews, such as Wild Boar alla Cacciatora, Chicken Scottiglia (stew with tomatoes) and Veal in Brunello.
The Pork Loin and Livers are prepared in the oven...... without altering the flavour of the meat.
Our coal ember grill enhances the aromas and flavour of the meat; the Florentine steak first and foremost, followed by the Veal steak, Fillet and the Pork ribs and sausages....
